Historic Hotels of America is the official program of the National Trust for Historic Preservation® for recognizing and celebrating the finest historic hotels across America. Thriving on business from the 300-passenger trains that arrived daily at Union Station, the Grand Hotel of Indianapolis represented the height of luxury from 1913 until the late 1930s. Today, this elegant property with many of its original features survives as the four-diamond Omni Severin. In the Severin Ballroom, a magnificent Austrian crystal chandelier, a dramatic marble stairway, and ornate railings are unmistakable vestiges of the hotel's lavish history. Also, original solid mahogany dressers are located on each elevator landing. Guestrooms are sumptuous havens outfitted in modern technology with features that appeal to both business travelers and vacationers. The hotel boasts 17 meeting rooms with 17,000 square feet of function space. For Price Match Guarantee and Special Offers please visit, please visit HistoricHotels.org .
