Data & Account Deletion
You can ask us to delete your Roaming.Camp account and all associated personal data at any time — including data we received because you signed in with Google, Apple, or Facebook.
Delete it yourself (fastest)
If you’re signed in, go to Settings → Connected accounts and use the Danger zone at the bottom to delete your account immediately. This removes your data right away — no waiting.
Or request it by email
Prefer not to sign in? Email privacy@roaming.camp from the email address on your account, with the subject “Delete my account.” We may ask you to confirm ownership before we proceed. We will complete the deletion within 30 days and confirm by email.
What gets deleted
- Your profile (name, email, avatar) and all connected sign-in identities.
- Saved sites, trips and itineraries, and private site notes.
- Reviews, ratings, and trip reports you posted.
- Photos you uploaded, including the stored image files.
We may retain a minimal amount of information where required by law or to prevent abuse, and routine backups are purged on their normal cycle.
Removing a single sign-in method
If you only want to disconnect one provider (for example, unlink Facebook but keep Google), you can do that yourself under Settings → Connected accounts without deleting your account. You must keep at least one sign-in method.
See our Privacy Policy for more on how we handle your data.
