§ 02 — OVERVIEW
Furnace Creek Campground, near the Visitor Center at 190ft below sea level, is the only NPS campground in the park that accepts reservations. It offers full RV hookups and dry RV/tent sites.
Reservations can be made up to 6 months in advance for dates between October 15th and April 15th. As the most popular campground in the park, reservations are strongly recommended. From late-April through early-October each year, the campground reduces to 41 sites and is first-come, first-served.

Directions
From Las Vegas area, head east on Blue Diamond/Hwy 160 to Pahrump, NV. Continue through Pahrump and then turn left on Bell Vista Road. Take Bell Vista Road as it turns into State Line Road and dead ends at Death Valley Junction. From Death Valley Junction turn right and then a quick left on CA190. Follow CA190 into the park and Furnace Creek. The Furnace Creek Campground is on the left directly past the visitor center.
Weather Notes
Furnace Creek Campground is located below sea level and will be too hot for most campers from mid-April through mid-October. Many nights during these months, temperatures might not drop below 90 degrees F. November through March offers pleasant temperatures.

Standard RV/Tent Sites
Standard campsite. No more than eight people and two vehicles or one recreational vehicle per site. Larger groups wishing to camp together can reserve group sites at the Furnace Creek Campground.
Full Hook-up Sites
Standard RV/Tent site fee $30 (half-price for Senior and Access pass holders) plus $14 Utility Fee (not discounted). Full Hookup Sites provide 30/50-amp electrical service, sewer, and water.
Group Sites #3, 4, 5
These group sites are suitable for 9-15 people and up to 4 vehicles. There are no group site discounts or reduced rates for Senior/Access pass holders.
Group Sites #1 and #2
These group sites are suitable for 9 to 40 people and up to 10 vehicles. There are no group site discounts or reduced rates for Senior/Access pass holders.
