§ 02 — OVERVIEW
The Sundell Trail traverses through a variety of forest types on the lower portions of Red Table Mountain south and west of Gypsum Creek. This trail becomes faint and hard to follow in spots.
Trailheads are located at either end of the trail along Gypsum Creek road (FDR #413) and are easily accessible by car. The only big climb is from the first, or north, trailhead, so start from the south end for an easier hike.
