The Scab Creek Backpacker parking area is located within the Scab Creek Recreation Area . It provides access for those wishing to hike Scab Creek or Scab Lake Trails. These trails travel through the Scab Creek Wilderness Study Area before connecting to the greater Bridger Wilderness trails system at in the foothills of the Wind River Range.
