§ 02 — OVERVIEW
The Ouray National Fish Hatchery was established in 1996 to provide refuge, propagation, and technical development to assist in the recovery of the four endangered Colorado River fish: razorback sucker, Colorado pikeminnow, bonytail, and humpback chub.
Ouray National Fish Hatchery is open to the public; however, the recirculation hatchery and the isolation facilities are restricted except for guided tours.
