§ 02 — OVERVIEW
The Fins and Things 4x4 Trail offers spectacular views of the La Sal Mountains across the sandstone domes of Sand Flats Recreation Area. Drivers should allow 3-4 hours to complete the 10 miles of steep climbs and even steeper descents.
Portions of the trail are limited to daytime only. "Daytime" is defined as a hour after sunrise to 1/2 hour before sunset. Please stay on the marked route and follow the one way signs. Motorized travel is only allowed on designated routes. Additional information can be found on the Fins and Things 4x4 website.
