To reach the trailhead, drive south 2 miles from Happy Camp, CA on Highway 96. Turn right and go north on Crocker Rd. .10 mile to Forest Road 17N16. Go south on Forest Road 17N16 1.1 miles to the trailhead on the south side of the road.
