Jurassic National Monument is a great spot to learn and bring kids for a quick trip out to see an active dinosaur bone dig site with the highest concentration of Jurassic Era fossils in the world. The day pass is only good for the day purchased and for the number of people in the group that are paid for. Day passes can be purchased on site or via the rec.gov app using Scan & Pay instructions. You will need to download the free Recreation.gov mobile app while still having cell phone service or wifi as some remote areas have limited or no cellphone service.
