Lake Yellowstone Hotel was completed in 1891 as part of a series of hotels to accomodate visitors to Yellowstone National Park. Hotel guestrooms capture the historic ambiance, while an adjacent annex and nearby cabins provide more rustic and economical options. The building's classic white columns accenting the yellow exterior of the hotel create a vision that stands apart from the surrounding forest and meadows.
