The North Fork John Day Overlook Interpretive Site is located just off Forest 52 and offers a spectacular view of the North Fork John Day Wilderness, river basin and Bridge Creek Wildlife area.
Fire scars from the Tower Fire that burned over 50,000 acrea in 1996 are visable along the route and from the overlook.
