§ 02 — OVERVIEW
Located in groves of cottonwoods along the San Miguel River. Cottonwood campground has 14 campsites.
RV and tent sites, a few cabanas, picnic tables, grills, toilets, and hand-carry boat ramps. No drinking water or trash services. The river in this section flows over sandstone bedrock where rock ledges form large holes creating rapids during high water. For more information, please contact the Uncompahgre Field Office.
