Kettle River is a shady campground on the banks of the Kettle River. Most of the sites are on the shoreline and have beautiful views of the Kettle River and surrounding landscape.
Kettle River does not have a boat launch but does have a courtesy dock. This campground is a great place for birding, with a variety of waterfowl and raptors seen in the area. Kettle River Campground is typically quiet and doesn’t often fill.

Directions
From Kettle Falls, drive north on US 395. You will cross Lake Roosevelt over Barneys Bridge. Follow US 395 north approximately 6 miles past the bridge. Turn right at the Kettle River Campground sign.

Summer weather is hot and buggy, with highs averaging in the 90s and lows in the 50s. Rain and thunderstorms can happen any time of year. In the winter, expect cold temperatures and possible snow. Temperatures can vary in spring and fall. Be prepared for many types of weather in all seasons.
