§ 02 — OVERVIEW
Alamo Lookout was an Aermotor LX-25 type 7’ X 7’ cab sitting on a 35 foot high tower. Like the Weed Lookout, the Alamo Lookout was erected in 1926 and had a wood framed Observer’s cabin of CCC construction (date unknown). The site is now occupied by a US Air Force telemetry antenna.
The only remaining indication of the Alamo Lookout is its bench mark.
