Overview

The Bainbridge Island Japanese American Exclusion Memorial is an outdoor exhibit commemorating the incarceration of Japanese Americans from Bainbridge Island. Wayside markers provide history and other information. This site is a unit of the Minidoka National Historic Site in Idaho. The park is located in Pritchard Park, 3.8 miles from the Bainbridge Island Ferry Terminal. The outdoor memorial is open daily, dawn to dusk. The visitor center is open Friday - Sunday, 10 am - 4 pm.
