Overview
The lake was artificially created in 1926 with the construction of the Green Valley Dam and makes the lake approximately 9 acres (36,000 m2) in size. Fish are regularly stocked from May - August and freezes over the winter. Fishing is $15.00 for adults, an extra $1 for another pole (two is max). $8 for children 4-15. Trout are the main action here. They are stocked regularly by the Department of Fish & Wildlife and private hatcheries from the Eastern Sierra area. There are also Bass, Catfish, and Crappie in the lake.
