§ 02 — OVERVIEW
The elevation at the trailhead is about 9,300 ft. The trail has a gradual slope throughout and is the longest trail in the Cuba Ranger District. Destination is the San Pedro Parks about 8.2 miles from the trailhead where the trail meets trail #51 (Las Vacas). Water is scarce along the trail.
Trail # 418 (Perchas) is crossed at about 2.5 miles. It is 4.2 from the junction to trail #51.
