The Bear Creek Trail is primarily a winter trail and not recommended for summer use. From its start at Nome Creek Road, this trail climbs gradually to cross a ridge before paralleling the Beaver Creek drainage.
It crosses Champion Creek and Bear Creek shortly before reaching its end at Richards Cabin.
