Weather Notes
At 4,400 feet in elevation, Hole-in-the-Wall is a respite from summer heat at lower elevations. In late summer, strong monsoonal storms can drop large amounts of rain and flood low-lying areas, making roads in and out of the campground hazardous. Fall brings cooler temperatures and marks the beginning of hunting season. Winter brings freezing temperatures and occasional snow.
